With no PGA Tour event, the main event of the DP World Tour, the BMW PGA Championship, takes center stage and Steve Rawlings is reduced to a start on Thursday. Steve says: "Last year's winner, Billy Horschel, is 40th in driving distance and 13th in driving accuracy, and I like accuracy a bit here at T distance, but neither is a critical position.
"Over the past nine years, we've seen winners as first (Yong-Hun 2015) and 70th in driving distance (Matteo Mancero 2013) and fourth and 47th for driving accuracy. The tenth winner in 16 years to finish in the top-four for that state and two of three players to finish second." Tied for time were Laurie Cantor and Kiradek Apiburnrath, both of whom were beaten by Luck, for 3rd and 6th place for GIR.
