STORY:
This 'Criminal Justice' series focuses on the juvenile court trial for the murder of Zara Ahuja (Deshna Dugad), a teenage celebrity. Mukul Ahuja (Aaditya Gupta), her half-brother, becomes the prime suspect after all the evidence points to him. As a result, no one is willing to take Mukul's case, but his mother Avantika (Swastika Banerjee) turns to advocate Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi) for help. Will he be able to uncover the truth and prevail against all odds?

The most popular celebrity in the country, Zara Ahuja shot to fame as a child actor in a hit TV show. Her family consists of four members - father Neeraj (Purab Kohli) who looks after her finances, stepmother Avantika who serves as her manager, and Mukul Ahuja, her 17-year-old stepbrother who feels abandoned, leading him to have a temper and behaviour. problems. One fateful night, Zara disappears and is later discovered dead, brutally burned with acid and wrapped in a sheet. When police officers Gauri Kamarkar (Kalyanee Mulay) and Prashant Waghmare (Adinath Kothare) start investigating this heinous crime, every shred of evidence points to Zara's brother, Mukul, as the prime suspect. Afterwards, the Ahuja family deals with the consequences.
So the stage is set for the third installment of the franchise, 'Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach', an eight-episode serial directed by Rohan Sippy. We know from the beginning what happened and all the evidence points to Mukul as the killer. But, as the name suggests, it is only adhura sach; the whole series is about what motivated Mukula to kill his sister and if he actually did it. For the prosecution, Lekha (Shweta Basu Prasad), it's an open case. While advocate Madhav Mishra believes that “seedha aur simple toh mere syllabus mein hai hi nahi.” As a result, he and his assistant Deepu (Aatm Prakash Mishra) are convinced that there is more to it than meets the eye.
