Rohit Sharma kisses Dinesh Karthik on the head after his lucky dismissal of Glenn Maxwell in the third T20I

Rohit Sharma kisses Dinesh Karthik on the head after Glenn Maxwell is run out. Dinesh Karthik disturbed the stumps before the ball hit the stumps but only one bail was rejected.

Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik's bromance was once again seen on the field as the Indian skipper hit the wicketkeeper on the head. In the 8th over, Karthik disturbed the stumps before Glenn Maxwell reached the crease. The all-rounder was dismissed as one bail fell off the stumps.

Had both securities fallen to the ground, Maxwell would have survived. Rohit got upset for a moment but after the decision of the umpire, he kissed Karthik on his head. It was a perfect toss by Axar Patel who has now secured his place in the playing XI for the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Maxwell failed to score big and all-rounder Cameron Green again shone with the bat, scoring just 52 balls. The right-handed batsman gave Australia an impressive start and scored more than 12 runs in one over while in the middle of the visiting team.

Green completed his half-century in 19 balls and Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed him for 52. After his dismissal, the scoring rate fell and Maxwell's wicket added to Australia's troubles.

Interestingly, Green is not a part of Australia's T20 World Cup squad and has been named for the India tour due to the absence of David Warner. The former Australia vice-captain has been rested for the series.

Talking about the series, when both teams win one game each, the winner of the third game wins the series. Australia chased down a target of 209 runs in Mohali to win the first match. In the second T20I, India were asked to chase down 91 runs in 8 overs.

Rohit Sharma shone with the bat and lifted the river into the blue in the series T20.
