Statistics from the National Coffee Association show that 60% of Americans each day choose coffee over other beverages, including water. And while much of that coffee is consumed at home, people also like to take it with them. The association has shown that drive-thru and in-app ordering of coffee has increased by more than 30% over the past year.
Americans drink a lot of coffee. A whole lot of coffee.

Dunkin' loyalty members can receive a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase on September 29. Dunkin' is also giving away over 1 million coffees to Rewards members.
Krispy Kreme
Visit Krispy Kreme on September 29 and get a free hot or iced coffee. Offer is available on in-store, drive-thru or online ordering. Krispy Kreme Rewards members will receive a sweet treat - a free donut of their choice that day.
McDonald
McDonald's offers any size iced coffee or premium roast for 99 cents with an in-app offer. The deal is valid once a day until December 31st.
Panera Bread
Panera Bread is launching its first My Panera Week on Sept. 29-Oct. 5. New Unlimited Sip Club subscribers will get two months free for National Coffee Day. Existing Sip Club members get $2 off barista drinks and smoothies. Offer is available in the app only.
Smoothie King
Buy any 20-ounce coffee smoothie for $5 plus tax. Offer valid before 11am locally at participating locations; In store and app orders only.
What about Starbucks?
Starbucks won't have any offers specific to National Coffee Day, but you can download the Starbucks app for other rewards program offers.
