Attacking the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party said that what Aziz Qureshi is saying is absolutely right. The Gandhi family is more concerned in the Congress.
Former governor and senior Congress leader Aziz Qureshi has written a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi, warning. He said that remove the sycophants from the party or else they will sit on dharna. Aziz Qureshi has praised Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh for changing the situation in Congress in Madhya Pradesh.
In his letter, he has raised questions about the performance of Congress in Madhya Pradesh elections and district presidents. The former governor said that in the last two elections of the Congress organization, the workers have been cheated. He further said that a gang of such conspirators has formed and these people are occupying 5 to 7 districts. He says that such Congressmen have ruined the party, they can neither win nor have the ability to win new candidates.
In his letter, he has praised Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh and said that they can change the picture of Congress in Madhya Pradesh, but an army of sycophants and number two Congressmen has gathered around them.
He has also questioned the party's performance in the recently held municipal, nagar panchayat and municipal elections. He said that the way in which tickets were distributed at the behest of the MLAs in these elections, the results were also unfortunate. Qureshi said that even under the leadership of the President of the District Congress Committee, disappointing results have come. He recommended the immediate removal of such district heads.
After these allegations of the veteran Congress leader, the Bharatiya Janata Party has got an opportunity to attack the Congress. Minister in Madhya Pradesh government Bhupendra Singh said that what Aziz Qureshi is saying is absolutely right. The Gandhi family is more concerned in the Congress.
He said, “Congress is not a party nor does it have any ideology. Such parties run on the basis of sycophants, that is why this is the condition of Congress in the country today. What Aziz Qureshi has said is right and Congress should introspect on it, but they will not."
